The Brand - The Story

The Start.

I remember sitting in class, listening to a marketing lecture.
It was so boring that I started to think about other things, and suddently the words "I want to start a clothing brand or something", came out of my mouth.
Instead of leaving it where most ideas stay, somewhere in the back of your mind, I decided to actually do something with it, without knowing where it would go or how it would turn out.
And that’s still the case. There’s no guarantee this works, no clear end point, no certainty.
But that’s not really what this is about.
Because the moment you decide to build something from an idea, even if it’s small or uncertain, it doesn’t just stay something personal, it starts to connect with others, it creates something that can grow beyond you, and that’s where it really begins to matter.
If you’re reading this, you probably have something like that too, an idea that keeps coming back, something you’ve thought about more than once but never really acted on.
Don’t leave it there.
Turn it into something real, shape it into a plan and see where it goes, because whether it works or not, it will always give you something in return.
This is just the beginning.
And we’re building this, step by step, together.
"We may not be the only upcoming brand, I know.
But everyone started small. I believe I get it now, it took a while though."

Take a moment to reflect on the ideas below. I have some things I think about a lot. Some things I want to put in the clothes I make.

T'inquiète

1. TIME

Everyone wants it now.
Faster drops. Faster growth. Faster results.
But think about it.
The things you’re most proud of…
none of them happened overnight.
We’re building this step by step.
Getting it wrong sometimes, figuring it out as we go.
Because real things take time.
And skipping that part always shows in the end.
Nothing rushed ever lasts.
So take your time.
You’re not late.

2. PRESENCE

We say it all the time.
“I can’t wait for this.” “For that.”
Always something ahead of us.
But how many moments have already passed that you barely remember being in?
We’ve had that too.
Being somewhere, but already thinking about what’s next instead of what’s now.
And then it’s gone.
So we’re trying to move different.
To actually feel it when it happens.
Because this moment, right here,
is the only one that’s real.
Be there when it happens.

3. ACCEPTANCE

The most literal T'inquiète pillar.
There are things you’d do differently now. Moments you replay in your head.
But ask yourself,
what does holding on to it actually change?
Nothing.
You don’t get to go back and fix it.
You only get to move forward with it.
So take what it taught you,
and leave the rest behind.
Not everything needs closure.
Some things just need acceptance.
Sometimes, you just have say it.
To yourself.
Or to someone next to you.
“T’inquiète.”
Don't stress, It’s going to be okay.
